TACTICAL INTERNET GATEWAY
Bandwidth, delay, and performance issues have long been a source of constraint for many remote government users. Our nation relies on the health and security of not only our government’s critical information technology infrastructure, but in the communications tools as well. According to the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), two major challenges for the federal government today are protecting cyber critical infrastructure and securing federal systems and information.
The Trusted Internet Gateway (TIG) guards against intercepted transmissions and ensures fast, reliable, and secure communication. The TIG is designed to fully connect to a wide variety Wide-Area Network (WAN) technologies such as LTE, GSM, CDMA, and Satellite based systems to extend that private tactical edge securely over untrusted networks. Furthermore, the TIG is designed to integrate private / tactical LTE / GSM / CDMA cellular networks as well as tactical MANET radios (Persistent Systems, Silvus, TrellisWare) via the Local Area Networks (LAN) ports in to cover a large geographical area.
